About Us Founded in 1990 by Don Westra, West Tool & Design first served the electronics industry developing and building everything from simple fixtures to complete production systems for several major electronics companies. Since that time West Tool and Design has grown to serve over 750 customers in the mechanical equipment, packaging, and medical device industries.

West Tool & Design is a specialist in short run production machining and custom stainless steel metal work. Customers appreciate West Tool & Design's flexibility to produce precision parts with a quick setup-to-completion time frame. As well, West Tool & Design works with engineering departments of major manufacturers in Research & Development on prototype equipment design and development.
